The following information applies to our online refill service: Policies: - Online prescription filling applies to refill requests only. We cannot process or accept new prescriptions online. Even if a new prescription is a renewal of an old prescription, this still counts as a new prescription and cannot be processed online.
- All of the same state and federal pharmacy regulations apply to our online service, as well as any restrictions and copays that are part of your insurance plan.
- Please note that any non-controlled prescription is refillable for a maximum of one year from its original date if authorized by your health care provider.
- Controlled drug prescriptions, such as compounded testosterone, are refillable for a maximum of six months from their original dates if authorized by your healthcare provider.
- If you request a prescription refill and no refills remain or the prescription is beyond its allowable refill date, we will do our best to notify you and we will fax your healthcare provider immediately that a new prescription is required. You should follow up with your healthcare provider to make sure a new prescription is faxed or called in to us.
Costs for Prescription Refills: - Because the costs of prescriptions and copays can fluctuate with each refill, our online refill service does not calculate an actual prescription cost when your refill request is placed. You will be charged the normal amount and/or insurance copay for your prescription once your order is processed.
- Your online order for a prescription request will only show the prescription being refilled and the shipping and handling charges. The actual total will be the sum of the prescription charges determined at the time of refilling plus the freight charges.
